Aromatherapy is very beneficial to improve sleep, relieve stress, and uplift your mood.
You can use essential oils on your skin, in a diffuser, and/or burn incense sticks. Our sense of smell is directly wired to our brain's centers of memory and emotion. Cells inside the nose detect smells, and send information to the brain via the olfactory nerve. The information about smell goes immediately to the limbic system of the brain. This section of the brain controls emotional reactions and memory.

I want to share a wonderful mosquito and lice repellant spray! This is my recipe:
In a spray bottle, calculate the total volume, for example if the bottle hold 5 ounces, add 1 ounce of castor oil and (1/5 of the total volume is castor oil):
- 30 drops Tea tree oil
- 30 drops Eucalyptus oil
- 20 drops lemon myrtle oil
- 40 drops citronella oil
- 20 drops Cedarwood oil
- 30 drops Peppermint oil
- 20 drops Rosemary oil
- 20 drops geranium oil
- 30 drops Thyme oil
- 20 drops Lemon grass oil
- 20 drops Lavender oil
- 20 drops Cinnamon oil
- 20 drops myrtle oil
- 20 drops jasmine absolute oil
- 20 drops rose absolute oil
- 20 drops clary sage oil
(If you do not have all of these oils, just use what you have!)
Add spring water to fill remaining volume; shake, and spray carefully on clothing and backpacks and bedding. This may be too strong for your childs skin directly. Spray a small amount on your arm to test the strength. If it is too strong, pour off 1/2 into an additional spray bottle and add spring water to both.
